2007 Sekon Calendar (archive)
Wow! If the summer comes together as well in reality as it has on virtual
paper, this will be great!
Update, June 25:
The schedule is shaping up nicely! Marilyn and John are coming up to
visit mid-August. Hooray! Scott has claimed the last weekend gap, July
14 - 17. As usual, there will be a lot of people there on Steak Roast
weekend. That should be OK as long as EVERYONE there takes responsibility
for cooking, cleaning, and (especially) making sure Mom and Dad are not
overwhelmed or overlooked.
If you are thinking of a visit that is not yet on the calendar and you
can be flexible in choosing dates, look for times when one person will
be visiting Mom & Dad for several days and see if you can pitch in, even
if only for the weekend. For instance, I'm planning on being there for
a short long weekend July 21 - 23. Ken will have been there for three
days by then and will probably be happy to have some help.
Schedule your visits
Figure out which dates you can be at Sekon and send them
to Sue to be added to the calendar using this handy
web form or by email.
Info to include :
- Total number and names of the people who will be visiting
- Dates of visit and intended arrival & departure times (as in "arriving early evening of 7/9 and leaving by noon on 7/12")
How to read the calendar
If we are lucky, this won't get too confusing!
- Those who are scheduled to be at Sekon are listed on each date.
- Arrivals and departures for each date will be indicated in blue.
- Dates when one (or more) of us is already scheduled to be at Sekon
are dark gray.
- Dates that are tentative or negotiable are in light gray: when one
of us is available or tentatively scheduled to be there, but may be
adjusted..
Send your visiting preferences as soon as possible.
The longer you wait, the less negotiable the schedule will be.
