2026 Spruce Lodge Calendar

The Sekon Association annual meeting: is the "first Saturday in July" which would be the 4th, beginning at 10:00 AM. Please let us know if you plan to attend the meeting.
This spring and early summer, the schedule will be tentative. We hope installation of a leach field and major foundation repair/replacement will proceed smoothly. The camp may be mostly uninhabitable through June and possibly longer.

- Camp Opening: unknown
- Camp Closing: maybe? October 10 and 11, Indigenous People's Day weekend.
Note on impromptu visits: Sometimes late changes in plans, such as arriving or leaving earlier or later than expected, don't get updated on this calendar. Sometimes room appears as available on the calendar but may already be taken by impromptu visits. (I post visits sent to me on the calendar but I don't know who or how many will actually be there at any given time.)
If you are thinking of an unscheduled visit at camp, please check the calendar, call the camp to check availability, or send a message to all LLC members. Let's coordinate visits to camp so that any surprises are happy ones.
Scheduling your visits
Figure out which dates you would like to be at camp and send them to Sue to be added to the calendar.
Info to include:
- Total number and names of the people who will be visiting
- Dates of visit and, if possible, intended arrival & departure times (as in "arriving early evening of 7/9 and leaving by noon on 7/12)
Send your visiting preferences as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the less negotiable the schedule will be.
How to read the calendar
- Days when one (or more) of LLC members scheduled to be at Sekon, with room for others, are colored gray.
- Days that are tentative or negotiable are pinkish tan: when one of us is planning to be there, but may be adjusted.
- Days when a member arranges use of the camp with a group of friends and/or "in-laws" large enough to occupy all the bedrooms at camp will be yellow.
FYI: We started this calendar in 2007, to coordinate parent care during the last year Mom was at camp. Calendars for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 are archived and available for reference.
